SYDNEY BOAT SHOW: Elandra Yachts

Elandra announces Sydney boat show display

New luxury motoryacht builder Elandra Yachts has announced that it will have a display at the Sydney International Boat Show in August.

The company opened its doors at a yard on Queensland’s Gold Coast in March and is already on track to launch its first semi-custom 53-foot sports yacht in July next year.

Elandra’s Managing Director Luke Durman said: "We are overwhelmed by the interest in our new motor yacht so we decided to be at the Sydney show this year to give people a chance to meet our team, see our progress and talk about our plans for the new company and our first sports yacht."

Elandra Yachts will have a booth on the marina in Cockle Bay throughout the show.

The company recently completed a milestone when it rolled the hull plug of its first model and began work on the deck and cabin top plugs.

As yet, Elandra has not released any drawings or computer renderings of the boats.

Elandra Yachts’ web site is www.elandrayachts.com.
