SYDNEY BOAT SHOW: Chaparral to showcase jet boat

Jet-powered bowrider to make its Sydney debut

Following the official launch of Chaparral’s stunning new Vortex Jet powered bowrider in Melbourne, Blakes Marine will exhibit the hot new sports boat in Sydney.

Chaparral has teamed up with BRP to produce a high-quality, high-content sports boat featuring Chaparral’s unmistakable quality DNA and BRP’s high performance supercharged jet power unit. Typically, Chaparral has added a number of innovations including closed-circuit cooling, a special throttle system offering a range of operating modes such as low-throttle docking options and a number of major improvements to the layout and functionality of the deck.

Chaparral says that the design offers higher freeboard and the company's 'salt water tough' dry, soft-riding hull, providing a comfortable yet exhilarating ride in all conditions.

Lee Blake from Blakes Marine is excited about the upcoming show and in particular the new Vortex Jet Boat: "We continue to be amazed at Chaparral’s innovative approach to building boats," he said. "The new Vortex shows the whole industry what can be done, the overall package is hard to beat and we expect it to be well received by NSW buyers."

Blakes will have a wide range of Chaparral models on display including; Cruisers, Sunesta deck boats, Premium SSi Bowriders, 225 Sports cabin and the top selling H2O entry-level Sport and Ski/Fish bowriders. "We really believe that Chaparral offers the best value for money range of sports boat on the market," said Blake. "When people take the time to research the construction, content and design of a potential purchase, Chaparral becomes the obvious stand out." he said.

Celebrating its 50th year, Chaparral has a solid reputation worldwide for quality, innovation and performance. The company has over 37 models in the range from 18 to 37 feet and offer a complete dealer network across Australia. This year’s Sydney Boat show will be held in two locations; on water at Cockle Bay and off water at the temporary Glebe Island facility with ferries running between the two sites. Blakes will have a Chaparral Cruiser on display at the Cockle Bay Marina, with their main stand at the Glebe Island indoor facility on stand number 424.
