
We welcome back Cas and Jonesy to headline the show. They connected with visitors in 2009 when they told their story of their record breaking journey crossing the Tasman in a Kayak. This year, they will inspire and no doubt entertain the audience with stories of their epic walk to the South Pole. They will appear on stage at 2.00pm daily.

The Entertainment Precinct will host the Musto Fashion Extravaganza three times daily as well as an information booth for Yachting NSW and the Department of Fisheries. Learn about the exciting new boating resource and go into the draw to win a Hobie® Kayak for two.

The annual boat building competition is on again. Teams of shipwrights from Australia and New Zealand with will be tasked with building a boat in just two hours with only limited tools and materials supplied. Watch them construct their boats from 10am. The finale takes place at 2.30pm when each team takes to the water and attempts to sail around Cockle Bay. Come down and cheer for your favourite team. Who will make it and who will go for a swim?

Take a step back in time and visit the Walk of Fame on the marina. View the spectacular 1920s classic ketch, Hurrica V, which appears in Baz Luhrmann’s new flick, The Great Gatsby. The team from the Sydney Heritage Fleet is proud to show off two of their prestigious vessels. See the gentleman's schooner Boomerang built in 1903 with hardwood frames, kauri decks and deck beams and copper fastened throughout. A show favourite, Lady Hopetoun, returns also. See this Classic Edwardian steam vessel up close.

The Grand Final of one of Australia’s premier angling events, the Berkley Evinrude Team Series will take place at the boat show. It started with 150 teams and after six rounds of competition the top 20 will fight it out over the weekend of the Boat Show. Teams of two will fish exclusively for bream on Sydney Harbour and bring their catch back daily for weighing in front of the boat show crowd in Darling Harbour.
