Suzuki ups warranty for outboard engines

The deal applies to all recreational outboard engines ranging from the highly portable 68cc single-cylinder 2.5hp four-stroke to the range-topping 350hp DF350A4.4-litre V6.

“This upgrade provides customers with further support, security and peace of mind from an already established brand,” Suzuki Marine Australia said.

“It endorses the superior build quality and reliability of the Suzuki Marine brand in the Australian marine environment.”

Under the terms of the extended deal, the first three years is covered by Suzuki’s Japanese parent company, with the extra three-year warranty covered by Suzuki Marine Australia.

The extended warranty is given to owners who continue to have their outboard engines serviced and maintained by any one of the more than 100 authorised Suzuki Marine dealerships throughout Australia for the entire six-year period.

“We want to reinforce our commitment to our customers by continuing to offer them the ultimate outboard motor and backing our product by extending their warranty for a further 12 months without charge,” Suzuki Marine Australia service and warranty national manager Ty Hawkins said.
