Suzuki Rimini 530HC

The 'tow away, no more to pay' packaging initiative is pitched towards the novice boatie and offers a complete turnkey package of boat, trailer, outboard, safety equipment and accessories. It's exactly what you need to put to the water straight away.

Suzuki says that the combination of engine, propellers and accessories chosen for each model have been worked out after an extensive testing program.

Slotting between the 500HC and the 600SF - an offshore sportsfisher - the 530HC is priced at $27,999 and includes a three-year warranty and 12 months registration.

Based on the Rimini 530 runabout, the 530HC has been restyled and fitted with swivel bucket seats and features for the coastal or offshore fishermen.

The low profile cuddy has berth space for two as well as a big rear fishing cockpit.

The 5.3m x 2.25m deep-vee hull is powered by a 115hp outboard and is built to handle rough seas with ease, says Suzuki.

The 530HC package includes a two-tone deck, curved windscreen, mechanical steering, anchor locker with hatch and overhead drain. Other standard features are two ski hooks, twin pedestal bucket seats and fibreglass stowage pockets in the rear cockpit.

A variety of optional extras are available, including marlin boards, boarding ladder, clip-in carpets and bowrail.

Along with a Suzuki outboard and a trailer, each boat is packaged with a battery, engine-fit-up, safety gear, navigation lights, switch panel and speedo.
