Superyacht toys hit the Gold Coast
Lampuga Jet Surfboard and F1 folding GoCycle bike demos at Boutique Boat Display, Sovereign IslandsThe Boutique Boat Company will premier two ultimate yacht toys — the Lampuga Jet Surfboard alongside the award-winning Gocycle — at its free Luxury Boutique Boat Display at Sovereign Islands on May 5 to June 5.
For the first time in Australia, luxury boat and water-loving enthusiasts will have the chance to purchase these exciting designer yacht toys imported by The Boutique Boat Company.
The Lampuga Jet Surfboard was unveiled to the world at the Dusseldof Boat Show in 2015 as the world’s fastest e-surfboard which can reach speeds of 55km/h.
The 15-hp drive uses a brushless synchronous motor powered by a 52-volt lithium-ion battery that provides 35 minutes of run time and up to 20km of range, with a recharge time of 60 minutes.
The board's lightweight carbon fibre/composite construction helps it designed to eke out as much speed as possible when planning across the water.
Available in both a carbon fibre and inflatable versions the Jet Surf is pitched as the perfect toy for both luxury yacht owners and the adventurous surfer.
The Boutique Boat Company will be showcasing the Lampuga with an on water demonstration daily during the display so all show visitors will have the opportunity to see the Jet Surf in action.
Also launched in Europe last year in 2015, the Gocycle is described as the lightest-in-class electric bike which has been developed by former McLaren car engineer Richard Thorpe.
The Gocycle is storable and packs away perfectly where space is tight making it the ideal pleasure boats accessory.
The absence of cables, chains, gears and sprockets make Gocycle a clean and easy transport solution for a casual morning to a cocktail ride.
The Gocycle range is up to 64km depending on your pedal input, and features a smart phone app in which the rider can program the bike for a personalised ride, check on the battery life, check calories burned, calculate distance travelled and even trouble shoot any issues they may encounter.
The Gocycle will be showcased alongside the Lampuga Jet Surfboards during month long luxury-boat showcase at The Boutique Boat Company’s Sovereign Islands Office.
