Coinciding with the Sydney International Boat Show, Sydney Harbour Boat Storage is offering boat owners a three-month 'try before you buy' boat storage experience at their centrally located facility at White Bay 6 marine precinct.
"If you buy a new boat at the boat show, or if you are a long-time boat owner, we want people to know about the new way of storing your boat that increases security, reduces maintenance and adds to the life of your boat," explains Operations Manager, Jeremy Rose. "We are offering a three-month, no-obligation trial for boaties to store their boats to see the benefits for themselves."
Popular in the US, drystack storage of boats from 15 to 30 feet is "the evolution in boat storage", says Rose.
"Not only does it remove your boat from the water, meaning less anti-fouling and prop maintenance, it’s also the cheaper, hassle-free alternative to mooring your boat at a marina berth."
A three hectare facility with deep water access at White Bay, Balmain – adjacent to the new Cruise Ship Passenger Terminal and opposite the Barangaroo site – Sydney Harbour Boat Storage is located within a one-stop shop marine precinct.
"It’s a marine super-centre," says Rose. "Everything you could ever want is here – from on-site parking at the door, to fuel for recreational and commercial vessels, hardstand, dry stack storage, antifouling, servicing, marina berths, 60-tonne travel lift and a 30-tonne marina bull.
“We also offer a step-on step-off service for clients. Simply call or email your customer service representative to ensure your boat is ready for you when you arrive. You just meet your family and friends, get on your boat and enjoy it. Then when you return, we clean your boat, flush it and store it in your rack until you want to use it next time.
Waste water treatment and sullage pump out are available.
