
Out of 42 companies nominated for the prestigious NSW local Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards, Taree-based Steber International took recognition in three award categories, Winning the category ‘Large Manufacturer’.
Steber International received three awards, including Runner-up Overall Business of the Year, Runner-up in the Environmental Award as well as receiving the Overall Winner in the category of Large Manufacturing.
Steber International was proud to be acknowledged at the recent NSW local Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Awards, presented by the well-known cricketer, Glenn McGrath.
Glenn McGrath, founder of the McGrath Foundation was the guest speaker and presenter.
Alan Steber, Steber International General Manager responded promoting the achievements that Steber International has made during the last 12 months.
He said: “While many other boat yards have struggled, and in fact, some have closed their doors, last financial year was a record for our company for both domestic and export sales. Our factory expansion is almost complete and we will soon be conducting interviews for next year’s apprentices”.
“The coming year looks even brighter with orders in hand, and with our well-trained staff we will continue fulfilling the customised requirements of our clients.”
