Azzum is an assault on the sensesFrom the design group that produced the green, speed machine Earthrace, later re-named Ady Gil, comes this 12m wave-piercing trimaran with low hours on our sites for sales this week. Builder Warrick Yeoman has laid down a marker to the industry with this luxury vessel that will turn heads and leave others in its wake.
Azzum is a remarkable trimaran, designed to be used as a seriously capable pleasure boat that will maintain its speed in conditions that would keep most other boats at home. Twin Yanmar diesel surface drives propel her at speeds approaching 40 knots and, from the futuristic-styled helm, Azzum will take on anything that can be thrown at her.
Recaro bucket seating for four, offers panoramic sea views. Raymarine E-series electronics, radar and night vision cameras will ensure that you arrive quickly and safely, no matter where the destination.
The sea-water ballast system allows for up to 500 litres to be pushed forward or aft to reduce or increase inertia as the conditions dictate. She is designed to slice through waves, her low drag and ultra-streamlined hulls will give unrivalled fuel consumption and handling at speed.
The hull is constructed from medium-tech e-glass, foam and balsa composites, using carbon fibre where appropriate.
Inside, there are twin leather sofas, two double berths, entertainment system, private head and galley facilities.
The saloon features leather lounges complete with a 32" retractable plasma television and surround sound stereo. The gourmet galley features a two-burner gas hob, stainless-steel microwave, built-in coffee machine, as well as a fridge and freezer.
