Designed for fishermen in the Top End, but sure to be popular Australia wide, Stacer said these models offer fishermen a value-for-money model that can go the distance.
Stacer national sales and marketing manager, Damien Duncan, said the Northern Fishers are unique models.
"The 489 and 529 Northern Fisher has been designed to come in at an economical price, but offer everything a keen fisherman is after," said Duncan.
"Highlight features... include a tall centre console offering 360° of manoeuvrability combined with a huge amount of carpeted deck space with a raised carpeted casting platform.
"They are also built on Stacer's smooth riding Evo hull with a deep vee from stem to stern to slice through chop, and aft, wide downturned chines for superb stability at rest," Duncan said.
The smaller 489 Northern Fisher measures 4.9m with a beam of 2.2m, is built on 2mm bottom sides with 1.6mm topsides and is rated to a maximum 60hp outboard engine.
Meanwhile, Stacer said the 529 Northern Fisher is rated to a maximum 75hp outboard engine, measures 5.51m with a beam of 2.32m and is built on 3mm bottom sides and 2mm top sides.
The boatbuilder said both models can comfortably carry up to five passengers and feature a long list of standard features including four rodholders and two sidepockets for all your fishing gear, transom step and rail for easy access, 70lt fuel tank, two transom handles, transducer bracket, aft short siderails, high split bowrails, anchorwell and a bow roller, and a mounting plate to name only a few.
People wanting to add options to the standard package can chose from a bimini and envelope for sun protection, Northstar Fish Sounders to find your catch, Northstar VHF radio and antenna, and an upgrade to a 118lt fuel tank for long adventures.
An optional white painted hull and two-tone paint are also available.
Stacer said prices start at $21,990 for the 489 Northern Fisher packaged with a 40hp Mariner and Stacer steel trailer (price excludes dealer delivery, freight, boat and trailer registration and on-water costs) while both Northern Fisher models are available as Stacer 'Ready 2 Go' packages including boat, motor, trailer and three-year limited factory backed warranty.
