Stacer has added a new Crossfire rear console model to its 2022 line-up in a range of sweeping changes that also bring big changes for SeaMaster, including a number of buyer-friendly packages.
The Stacer Crossfire 539 and 589 rear centre console will sit in the Crossfire line-up alongside side console models. The new layout is primed for the northern Queensland and Northern Territory markets where boaters tend to travel out to distant fishing grounds.
The Stacer Crossfire 539 centre rear console will come standard with three seat spigots, while the larger Stacer 589 rear centre console will come with five seat spigots as standard.
The rear console layout, previously only available in the Yellowfin Plate boat range, shifts most of the weight aft in the Crossfire, making it much more comfortable for travelling long distances.
The Crossfire rear and side consoles will now come with the option of a fully enclosed forward casting deck, rotomoulded plastic anchor well, a taller centre console and tilt-adjust steering to make standing behind the console while driving more comfortable.
Owners will also be able to opt to carry an extra 72 litres of fuel on board to supplement the standard-fit 110-litre underfloor tank, as well as an extra 48 litres in a portable tank that fits into the Crossfire’s forward storage space.
At the top of the range will be a new fully loaded model called the Crossfire SE, featuring a number of extras including a V-bunk cushion and backrest, a GME GX750B VHF radio with 18-inch antenna, hydraulic rather than mechanical tilt steering with an upgraded steering wheel, a bimini and envelope, cockpit lights, a burley bucket, ski pole, transom bait board, and a seat upgrade on every model but the entry-level Stacer Crossfire 449 SE.
Similar to what Quintrex has done with its Fishabout range, Stacer will also introduce a choice of three boat packages that bundle together the most commonly requested options into a single boat. They will also be rolled out across the Stacer SeaRunner range.
The packs will include the fishing-focussed Angler’s Pack featuring a burley bucket, bait board, VHF radio and a ski pole, an Entertainer’s Pack featuring a bimini and envelope, front and side clears, an upgraded rear lounge, Fusion audio system and upgraded seats, and a Travel Pack featuring hydraulic steering and an upgraded steering wheel.
Meanwhile, the Stacer SeaMaster range will add a new in-floor battery box for the walk-up SeaMaster 429 and 449 models, moved from the transom, to match the layout of models higher up the showroom hierarchy, as well as new seat bases for all models from the SeaMaster 449 up.
All SeaMaster models will gain tilt-adjust steering, access to the range-topping SE fit-out, and the choice of the three packs rolled out for the Crossfire range of boats.
The base Stacer SeaMaster 449 will also gain a 55-litre underfloor fuel tank that removes the need to carry a tote tank.
The Wildrider bowrider models will also gain the new tilt steering system and access to the packages, including the top-spec SE.
No announcement was made about pricing for the new models. Stacer models all carry a three-year warranty.
