Stacer 489 Nomad a firm fishing favourite
New hull and transom, and more kit, extend Nomad's appealStacer’s newly designed 489 Nomad, now featuring the EVO Advance Hull and new transom design, is sure to remain at the top of all fishermen’s wish list.
The EVO Advance Hull provides a sharper bow entry with a deeper vee for improved performance and a smoother ride, while the new transom shape maximises cockpit space.
The new transom design not only increases internal space by 200mm but lowers the centre of gravity for more stability when the 489 Nomad is either at rest or underway.
The new design also creates an obstruction-free boarding platform as cables are hidden inside the transom. This permits faster access to the bilge pump as well.
“This year the R&D team have put a lot of time into the development of the Nomad range,” says Stacer National Account Manager, Drew Jackson.
“We have listened to our customer’s feedback on the Nomad Range and come back with a better model to include more of the features our customers are really looking for,” he said.
To this end, the Nomad features wide aluminium side pockets, front casting platform, live bait tank in aft deck, side sports console and bimini with ‘envelope.’
“We have included a new divided anchor well for boaties to run separate anchors or even separate the anchor and casting net,” adds Jackson.
Anglers will be in their element in the 489 Nomad, which includes as standard an accessory kit, VHF Radio, extruded side decks, pole mount insert, Lowrance Mark-5x Fishfinder, carpeted floor and rod holders.
The 489 Nomad is available as a ‘Ready 2 Go’ package complete with boat, 75hp Evinrude outboard and trailer covered by a three-year limited factory warranty.
