Squidgy Secret Weight system
Concealed jig weights create a more edible soft-plastic lureSquidgy's latest secret is out of the bag with the release of the new Secret Weight range.
Squidgy Secret Weights are ?designed to conceal the weight inside the soft-plastic lure's body, allowing the offering to be skipped under jetties, boat hulls, pontoons and areas areas that a conventional jig head ?can't access.
In keeping with tradition, Squidgy's signature wire keeper has been employed and coupled with an ultra-sharp, fine-gauge VMC hook for strength with maximum penetration.
Secret Weight jig heads also feature a high tow-point that offers the versatility of working the plastic along the surface or over oyster racks. The weight is said to provide the perfect lure balance and action as you sink your Squidgy back into the strike zone.
The finishing touch is a florescent yellow/orange coating to the weight that glows softly through the translucent bodies of the Squidgies, resembling a small baitfish stomach cavity and enhancing the overall appeal of the lures
Ranging in weights of 0.5gm through to 1.5gm, the Secret Weight system is being marketed as the ultimate lure-finesse solution. We will add the lures are a lot more edible with the concealed weight, too, and more likely to tempt choosy predators that shy off external jig heads.
