Spotlight: Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition

Well suited to southern climates and able to sneak under bridges the flybridge-equipped Riviera 46 Sports Motor Yacht will baulk at, it’s a versatile size for owners who need an ocean-rated ride but not the physical bulk.

The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition was launched in 2022, basting what Riviera said was an “improved power-to-weight ratio” that vastly improved fuel efficiency.

A new-look profile has created more interior volume that has been used to give more of a sense of space in the user-friendly model.

The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition can come in two layouts, with a two-stateroom layout featuring an aft master and forward guest suite, each with a full ensuite, and an atrium lounge, or as a three-stateroom layout featuring bunks in place of the lounge. 

The motor yacht is an ideal couples boat, featuring twin helm seats for making passage. However, it’s also comfortable enough to have up to six people onboard, or more, with a dinette and aft gallery in the saloon and a large seating area with a grill and wet bar in the aft cockpit shaded by an awning extension from the saloon’s hardtop.

Skylights built into the hardtop add light to the cockpit, while a large sunroof in the forward section of the saloon provides good airflow throughout the space.

The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition also has a large tender garage for a 3.0-metre RIB that can also be used to store water toys such as a Seabob or stand-up paddleboards, and a generous-sized swim platform that can lower into the water to make it easy to reboard.

Forward, the motor yacht features a large sun pad.

Befitting its status as a luxury motor yacht, the Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition features premium fabrics, high-gloss walnut timber cabinetry, in-vogue lounges and plush carpet underfoot in the staterooms.

According to R Marine Jacksons, three of the Riviera 4600 Sports Yacht Platinum Editions have already been delivered to Victoria, with another three on order.
