Taiwanese luxury motor yacht maker Ocean Alexander has recently added two new models to its Revolution line of boats that pretty much tip convention upside down. The smaller of the new models, which includes the Ocean Alexander 35R, is the Ocean Alexander 30R.
The new Ocean Alexander 30R fills a gap as the mid-sized motor yacht in the now three-model-large line of Revolution hulls.
Looking similar in profile to the 27R that launched the new line of space-efficient motor yacht designs on the market, the new model features a deck-level master suite built forward and featuring deep windows, as well as four guest suites below.
The Ocean Alexander 30R makes full use of its near-vertical bow with its protruding bulb that helps with increasing the motor yacht’s running efficiency.
The main deck runs the full width of the hull, with the saloon lined in floor-to-ceiling windows that connect the air-conditioned interior with the outside world.
The saloon features an open design including a wet bar and oak panel finishes, many of which hide storage spaces behind them.
The deck-level master suite features custom cabinetry and twin nightstands on either side of a king-size berth. Motorised shades provide shade and privacy.
Below decks, a VIP stateroom includes a king-size bed and a full ensuite with shower and head. Guest staterooms can either function as twin singles, or when pushed together, a standard double room complete with a full ensuite.
The Ocean Alexander 30R features an upper deck that can be optioned as either a “Skylounge” enclosed bridge or a “New Generation Pilothouse” open flybridge.
Aft on the flybridge deck is a large open space that can be optioned with a four-person spa with one of the best views in the world.
Down below and aft is a beach club space that turns the rear of the Ocean Alexander 30R into an intimate lounge space that leads onto the swim deck, complete with its own fridge.
Ocean Alexander motor yachts are distributed in Australia via Queensland- and NSW-based Alexander Marine Australia.
