Stacer has added an all-new rear console version to its Crossfire range of hybrid family and fishing boats.
The pressed aluminium tinny range comprises two models based on the Crossfire side console model, using the Crossfire 539 and 589 platforms as its base.
This style of boat is preferred in places such as the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland where the aft seating and deep internal and external freeboard count for much.

The boat is sold as a base for customisation, with buyers also having the choice of selecting from among three different packages that bundle up the most requested options, or a new all-in model that includes all the factory-fitted accessories on offer.
The Stacer 539 Crossfire is the entry-level rear console model, sitting below the Stacer 589 Crossfire range-topper.
Measuring a centimetre shy of 6.0 metres long and with a beam of 2.3 metres, the Stacer 539 Crossfire is made from 4.0mm thick alloy from the gunnels down and uses 3.0mm thick alloy for the topsides. The transom is made from the thicker 4.0mm alloy.
That thicker plate for the transom means the Stacer 539 Crossfire is rated to a maximum outboard engine performance of 140hp, and an engine weight of 220kg.
The Stacer 539 Crossfire’s build includes fully welded gunnels and extruded side decks, and underneath, Stacer’s concave bottom sheet Revolution hull that it says delivers a balanced ride yet plenty of stability at rest or on the move.
Even straight out of the showroom the Stacer 539 Crossfire comes quite well equipped.
Fittings include rubber bump guards for the gunnels, two MaxiBrackets used to mount everything from burley buckets to swim ladders, a telescopic stainless steel boarding ladder, four drink holders and an equal number of rod holders, an alloy and fibreglass live bait tank, transom pads, cockpit lights and a 12-volt outlet mounted on the new-look console.
The entire interior is carpeted throughout.
Up front is a vee-shaped seating area that can also double as a casting deck, with an infill for the middle converting the space to a dedicated casting platform. Underneath is space for a large icebox or even an extra tank of fuel for those owners who like to range wide of where they launch or to supplement the default 95-litre underfloor tank.
The bow, sides and transom all feature grab rails, as does the newly designed centre console with room to mount the new generation of larger multifunction chartplotters and fishfinders.
Storage is built in beneath the forward vee berths, and deep pockets running down either side provide storage for lines and fishing gear.
Anyone who fishes structure will like the standard electric trolling motor mount fitted to the bow.
The Stacer 539 Crossfire is fitted with three removable Stacer Elite Pro pedestal-mount seats with backs that fold down for transport. If you opt for the larger Stacer 589 crossfire, it comes equipped with two extra forward pedestal seat sockets.
Given the size and performance of the Stacer 539 Crossfire, it is fitted with hydraulic tilt-adjust steering by default, and a three-spoke steering wheel.
Options are many, and include a bimini and envelope, Garmin VHF radio, Fusion audio system, a twin battery box, transom door, bait board and even a ski pole.
You can even ask for the boat to be delivered wearing a vinyl wrap.
You can also order a number of Lowrance chartplotters and fishfinders out of the factory.
For those who want a boat with everything, Stacer has included a range-topping SE specification that will build a boat that any owner will be proud to call their own. It includes extra features such as a ski pole, live bait tank, transom pads, and bow seat pads and backrests. The additional gear adds 20kg to the hull weight.
The Stacer 539 Crossfire comes out of the factory with a three-year warranty.
