Jeanneau will add its largest-ever centre console model to the Cap Caramat range with the launch of the Jeanneau Cap Caramat 10.5 CC.
The new model, revealed overnight and what Jeanneau claims will be the only centre console in its size category to offer four berths, was developed as an all-rounder capable of adapting to any activity from watersports to fishing or sunbathing.
The boat adapts the same Michael Peters-designed hull on which the Cap Caramat 10.5 WA Series II sits, while its “timeless, extended sporty lines” come from Sarrazin Design, which has also worked with Beneteau.
Powering it will be a pair of 300hp or 425hp Yamaha outboard engines that will add the versatility of joystick control and full autopilot.
Jeanneau said the Cap Caramat 10.5 CC’s interior placed an accent on comfort and quality of life.
“On the exterior, the deck plan has been designed for versatile use, whether for fishing or for moments of pure relaxation,” Jeanneau said.
“The two vast [forward and aft] cockpits have been optimised. The aft bench seats fold away, offering optimal space for all marine activities.
“Forward of the console, a large sofa provides seating for two in full comfort, whether at anchor or underway, and it can be opened for a well-ventilated interior.
“The flush deck enables easy flow of movement around the console, without obstacles.
For those who love swimming, an immense portside door provides direct access to the water, with its integrated swim ladder.”
The helm features three seats protected by a large T-top that can come equipped with optional sunshades to extend the protection it offers, with the skipper seated in the middle.
Below decks, Jeanneau says the Cap Caramat 10.5 CC features a “bright, open” interior with a surprising volume of living space – including four berths.
The forward saloon, which fills the bow, uses an infill to convert into a large sleeping space. To one side is a common head with a separate shower.
Aft is a double berth with a two-thirds bulkhead separating it from the saloon space, making it easy to screen with a curtain if needed.
Both the forward and aft cockpit spaces feature large convertible sunbeds.
Fishing features include a livewell for bait and a transom access door that makes it easier to pull a fish onboard, and a portside dive door that is handy for hauling aboard a big fish, but includes a ladder that's also handy for diving. Don’t like fishing alone? The aft cockpit is also a social hub, with a grill and fridge.
