Monte Carlo Yachts said the 70 would be followed by other Skylounge models later this year.

The flybridge has helped Monte Carlo Yachts produce what it claims is “a boat for all seasons”.
“We were inspired by the idea of creating a yacht for all seasons,” Nuvolari Lenard naval architect and senior partner Cario Nuvolari said.
“The new MCY 70 Skylounge was designed with all the possible comforts to be a home away from home enjoyable throughout the year, and one that offers the owner a peaceful place to be shared with family and friends, a place for those that enjoy cruising and are looking to escape for unique and exclusive moments.”

The Monte Carlo Yachts 70 Skylounge features sleeker exterior lines to allow it to cruise in safety and comfort.
“Larger than ever exterior living spaces are found from the wide bow lounge area in which to relax on sunpads to the aft cockpit’s dining area featuring mirror fashion plates for increased privacy and protection from the environment,” Monte Carlo said.
“The general arrangement of the new MCY Skylounge Collection is characterised by the introduction of a new spacious enclosed flybridge area that emphasises the level of well-being on board to be enjoyed in every season.”
The “Skylounge” flybridge features a single central helm fitted out with the latest in marine navigation technology. Behind it, the space opens up to a large entertainment area reached form the saloon level via an internal “elegant” glass staircase. A sunbathing “terrace” is located at the aft end of the flybridge.

The Monte Carlo Yachts 70 Skylounge offers accommodation for up to eight people via two staterooms and two guest cabins, with the owner’s full-beam stateroom accessed via a private staircase.
Monte Carlo Yachts are sold in Australia via Sundance Marine.
