One thing the big American boat brands like Chaparral do extremely well is the luxury bowrider, and at the 2025 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) visitors will be able to see the brand’s 250 and 280 OSX models make their east coast debut.
The 280 OSX is a genuine crossover boat with twin 250hp outboards, high-end cruising comforts and clever fishing features. With a hardtop, smart electronics package, wet bar, toilet and flexible cockpit layout, the 280 OSX is one of Chaparral’s best sellers worldwide.
The single-engine 250 OSX is the smallest in the OSX lineup, and has an electric folding wake tower, toilet, flexible cockpit layout and premium finishes.
“Chaparral has exhibited at Sanctuary Cove every year since 2010, and this year we believe we have the perfect mix for Queensland boaters to consider,” said Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia.
“The two new OSX models are suitable for offshore use with deep-V hulls, high freeboard, self-draining cockpits, tall windscreens and big fuel capacities – ideal for a run out to the islands or up the coast to your favourite hidey hole.”
All Chaparrals are built with quad radial lamination, Kevlar reinforcing, 316-grade stainless fittings, loom wrapped tinned wiring with triple sealed connectors, high-end gelcoats and silicone upholstery.
Head to E-Pier at the SCIBS to check out the 250 and 280 OSX, as well as other Chaparral models.
