Simrad's groundbreaking NSE system has introduced a number of innovative software enhancements to allow the seamless control of its radar, chartplotter and sonar technology through a single user-friendly interface.
Autopilot functions are easier than ever as the NSE 2.0 software combines the autopilot system with the NSE displays, allowing users to combine charting, autopilot and vessel pages for unprecedented control.
The new software also integrates NSE with Navico's StructureScan sonar imaging technology to deliver life-like imaging of underwater features from the SideScan and DownScan imagery. DownScan Overlay also add a new dimension to fish finding, clearly separating fish from their surrounds.
Using the Czone digital switching technology it is now also possible to control and monitor systems such as bildge pumps and tank levels from the NSE display.
Simrad's NSE series of multifunction displays are compatible with the award-winning BR24 Broadband Radar, the HD digital Radar, the SM-1 Broadband Sonar Module and the GS15 high-Speed 5Hz GPS antenna.
These new software enhancements will be available in May for download from simrad-yachting.com or from authorised Simrad dealers.
