The Silver Eagle 650 is based on the classic Eagle 630 hull but with a completely different interior layout, said the boatbuilder.
The new model, said Silver Boats, is a double console model with a wraparound windscreen, featuring a centre door, for excellent protection against wind or inclement weather.
Silver said the Eagle 650 also features a storage box for a stern canopy that can be quickly erected to cover the cockpit in case of bad weather or perfect for beating back harsh and sunny conditions. Add to this, splash-proof storage, Todd bucket seats, hydraulic steering, stainless steel grabrails and a capacity for seven adults, which, said the company, all add up to a boat perfect for all on-water activities. With the maximum engine size of 175hp, the builder claims this boat will easily do 42kts.
As with all its boats, Silver said the Eagle 650 has a double aluminium hull filled with polyurethane that makes it not only unsinkable but provides a soft, quiet and very dry ride, while a fully moulded and self-draining fibreglass interior makes the boats easy to care for, whether back from the beach or a day's fishing, simply hose out the whole vessel.
For 2009, Silver said the Eagle 630CC has a new transom to accommodate twin engines and all boats feature a new black side stripe.
