Things to keep you warm and looking sharp while fishingWell, winter’s definitely here, but whether you’re waiting for a trout bite on a high-altitude lake or trolling for southern bluefin tuna well wide of the coast, it can still be quite pleasant out on the water provided you dress for the conditions.
Shimano has a comprehensive range of winter clothing designed to keep you toasty warm, and, it must be said, looking good while you’re out fishing.
Starting from the top, there are three new beanies, plus an ‘Ear Tickler’ style with dropdown flaps to keep your ears warm.
There’s a choice of a grey or black Shimano hoodie, and of course no Shimano winter clothing lineup would be complete without mentioning the classic Chinook hoodie in the company’s corporate colours.
For something a little more up-market, there’s a zippered Shimano soft-shell jacket that’s probably a bit too nice to be worn out fishing, but some of you probably will anyway.
