Sirena 58 to make a splash at 2020 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show

Luxury Sirena motor yachts built to cruise the Mediterranean in style will soon arrive in Australia

Mediterranean cruising yacht brand Sirena Yachts will launch in Australia this year with the entry-level Sirena 58 arriving just in time for the 2020 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

Brokerage eyachts announced this week that it will be the official Australian dealer for the Turkish boat-maker, which also builds a 64-foot motor yacht and a range-topping 88-foot version.

Sirena joins eyacht’s other brands including hybrid boat brand Greenline, and dayboat specialists Vanquish Yachts and Axopar/Brabus.

When it lands in Australia, the Sirena 58 is expected to be priced from around $2.3 million for a base package than lands you three standard cabins – an amidships full-beam master stateroom complete with ensuite, forward VIP stateroom and a twin-share – with the option of an abaft crew cabin yielding enough sleeping space for six (and the optional crew), and three heads.

There is the option of a twin-cabin layout that converts the twin-share room into a full ensuite for the forward VIP stateroom.

More volume

The Sirena 58's saloon includes a galley with access to the rear cockpit, dinette and lounge, while the flybridge, which extends back as far as the transom, includes a large sunbed area and lounge with table.

The Sirena 58’s designers boast the layout manages to squeeze 20 per cent more volume inside its length compared with equivalent-sized boats.

Standard equipment is expected to include a 4kW standard genset, hydraulic swim platform, electric capstans in the cockpit and more, although we can expect the Sanctuary Cove show boat to feature a comprehensive list of options.

The Sirena 58 look like nothing else out on the water, featuring a plumb bow with an anchor sitting proud off an extended bowsprit.

The motor yacht sits on a semi-displacement hull yielding a top speed of up to 30 knots, with a cruising speed of between 18-20 knots. Slow down to a cruising speed of just 10 knots and the Sirena 58 will push out to around 850 nautical miles of range.

To help lower its centre of gravity and make it more stable while moving and at rest, the Sirena 58 features a carbon hybrid superstructure to cut down on weight above the waterline.

The eyachts brokerage has offices and showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Perth, and Auckland, New Zealand.
