Sea Ray set for Sydney summer
New dealer with new-season dealsAmong the most established and popular of all American-made boats, Sea Ray enjoys wide representation Down Under. But the recent appointment of 5 Star Motor Cruisers as a new Sea Ray dealer means even greater availability of the top brand in Sydney.
The Sydney International Boat Show earlier this month proved a happy hunting ground for local Sea Ray fans. Now 5 Star is offering a raft of new models with keen pricing après-show for the summer season ahead.
With a whiff of spring in the air, but more than a week of winter bargaining power remaining, now’s a good time to buy a Sea Ray.
5 Star’s Sea Ray floor stock (pictured in ascending order) starts with the 190 Sport tested HERE, powered by an upgraded 190hp V6 MerCruiser 4.3L MPI MerCruiser inboard for a $49,950 entry-level price.
Other options on this 190 include two-tone red hull, covers, tower with wakeboard racks, snap-in carpet and gal trailer with brakes.
The new 210 SLX, dubbed a gentleman’s roadster with 260hp 5.0L V8 MerCruiser power, has a black hull, optional graphics, covers, bimini, carpet, seating plan with twin buckets and lounge with sun pad, dual batteries and more for $69,995.
The 220 Sundeck is bundled with the same engine but it’s a considerably higher volume bowrider with more amenities such as wet bar and enclosed head. The latter should win over female boaters. You’re looking at $79,950 for the drive-away package.
Ever the popular pocket sportscruiser, the 260 Sundancer sports the same 5.0L V8 engine but the boat’s got overnight accommodation, optional bow thruster, windlass and a big spread of electronics.
The new model 260 Sundancer now comes standard with forward-facing tower with LED lights and removable bimini. It’s a nice entry-level big boat for $149,950. Chicken salad, tubes and togs extra.
