Sea Ray adds 400 Fly to FLIBS launch

American giant Sea Ray has announced it will add a 400 sistership to the imminent launch of its 400 Sundancer

Sea Ray will lift the curtain on a new 400 Fly as well as the 400 Sundancer, alongside an array of popular sport boat, sport cruiser and yacht models at next month's Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) from November 5-9.

"The new 400 Sundancer and 400 Fly represent a design approach focused on the customer experience, based on a deep understanding of how boaters interact with nature and with each other," said Sea Ray President Tim Schiek.

"Indoor space and outdoor space are used harmoniously in these beautiful new sport yachts. We’re excited to introduce them at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, a venue that draws discerning customers from around the world."

Sea Ray’s 400 Sundancer and 400 Fly feature fresh and exciting designs, both inside and out, that were created for daytime socialising as well as relaxing overnighting. An expansive saloon on the main deck includes a convenient galley-up, making it perfect for entertaining, while huge windows fill the space with an abundance of natural light.

Below, the living area on each model opens on to two full-beam staterooms. Richer materials and finishes—from elegant hardwood floors to smooth solid surface countertops—enhance the aesthetics and comfort of all interior spaces. Aft, both yachts offer an optional hydraulic swim platform with innovative self-deploying boarding steps that allow for effortless interaction with the water.

"These sport yachts deliver signature Sea Ray style and performance," Schiek said. "They’re the kind of boats that draw people to the water and make them want to stay out longer."

Other Sea Ray models on display at FLIBS will include the 350 Sundancer, which gains a new standard hardtop for 2016; the popular 350 SLX, Sea Ray’s high-performance, high-luxury flagship sport boat; the 470 Sundancer, acclaimed for its sophisticated design and sociability; and the groundbreaking L-Class: the L590, L590 Fly, L650 and L650 Fly. In addition, the graceful 510 Sundancer, 510 Fly and 540 Sundancer will also be present and open to the viewing public.

Additionally, Sea Ray will display an array of sport boats and sport cruisers including new Sundeck Outboard and SPX models. Along with VIP events, a cigar lounge, and high-end whisky tasting, Sea Ray will launch an all-new Sea Ray Owners Club (SROC), which will "celebrate, connect and empower owners in a way that is unique in the marine industry."
