At 9.0m long and a beam of 2.76m, it has plenty of room for family and friends in its spacious cockpit and contoured bow, said the American boatbuilder.
For entertaining there is a cockpit wet bar, multiple drinkholders, stowage and an optional stainless steel gas grill, says Sea Ray adding, that there is also an ice chest built into the bow, a removable cockpit table and a carry-on cooler, plus a Clarion stereo/CD and digital remote.
The 290 Sundeck has a starboard lounge, aft bench seat and single swivelling bucket helm seat. Sea Ray said two cushioned chaises up front conceal storage compartments for all water toys and getaway goodies, while the cockpit's port lounger has a backrest that slides to face forward or aft.
The new boat offers a roomy multi-functional compartment just forward of the helm for sleeping, storage or a quick change of clothes, said Sea Ray. The port side has an enclosed compartment with a pump-out head and vanity with sink and mirror, plus a port for ventilation.
At the tail is an extended swim platform, with stainless steel ladder, that borders an aft-facing transom bench seat.
The boatbuilder said the 290 Sundeck has a MerCruiser 6.2lt MPI Bravo III with digital throttle and shift producing 320hp.
Sea Ray said the helm has keyless ignition and optional 5in chartplotter. The steering wheel has integrated Vessel Control System thumb pads for scrolling through stereo modes as well as depth, trim position, fuel levels and other SmartCraft Diagnostic data.
