Equipped with every comfort for liveaboard travel - from air conditioning to a mirror-finish stainless etched anchor - the Sea Godess is aimed at the top end of the cruiser market.
Fully equipped with twin 435hp Caterpillar diesels, it is priced at $871,000. A reduction of around $110,000, the pricing reflects post GST levels says Nereus chairman, Trevor Hansen.
The three-cabin Sea Godess is designed as an ideal luxury craft for a couple along with accommodation for a small crew or family if required, Hansen said.
The flybridge vessel features an aft cabin, sundeck, and step-up transom. It is also equipped with a folding radar arch for bridge clearance - particularly important in Gold Coast waters.
"The Sea Godess was designed as the ultimate luxury home with European styling but with the tropical style of an Australian boat," Hansen said.
"It is an even riding vessel with excellent vision from wherever you are located onboard.''
The GRP hull measures 14.5m with a 4.27m beam. Designed for long-range cruising, the Sea Godess carries 1500lt of fuel and 570lt of water. A top speed of 30kt is claimed.
The interior features a blend of wooden finishes - silver birds-eye maple veneer lining on all vertical surfaces and a rich burl highlighting horizontal surfaces throughout. Teak and holly feature on the floors.
Below deck, the queen-size master stateroom with en suite is located aft. A second stateroom also with its own en suite, is located forward while a portside midcabin provides accommodation for two guests or crew.
Alternate layouts include a dedicated dining room for owners who like to impress, or a fully-equipped mobile office instead of the midcabin.
The saloon features an adjustable dining table and wraparound lounge, while the galley is fitted with a full range of equipment from microwave, full-sized electric oven, fridge and freezer. It is highlighted by maple surfaces and rich granite benchtops.
Full controls are fitted in both upper and lower helm stations, along with a full range of electronic equipment.
The design ensures there are no ladders but integrated steps with handrails to provide access around the vessel.
The aft cockpit features a rear lounge that also provides rope storage and plumping for refrigeration. Even rodholders are fitted and there is lighting fitted throughout the outdoor area for evening entertaining.
At the rear is a stainless steel davit to lift a PWC or raise divers. An adjustable swim ladder is concealed in the transom.
Billed as one of the few fully- equipped vessels available in Australia, each model has an extensive standard inventory.
This includes features such as a Furuno 64nm radar, GPS, sounders, 15Kva Onan genset with sound shield, 2500W inverter, air conditioning, dual radios, two televisions, VCR, crockery, illuminated wardrobes and embroidered linen!
