Sea Fox has expanded its range of centre console models with the release of the new 266 Commander, a single- or twin-outboard rig that fills the gap between its 256 and flagship 286.
Sea Fox says the new 266 Commander, which measures 7.89m (26ft) in length and has a 2.78m (9ft 3in) beam, is "perhaps our finest work to date as the design team really put their collective heads together on this one."
As with all Sea Fox boats, the 266 Commander is backed by a lifetime warranty and built for serious offshore work. The choice of power ranges from a single 300 or 350hp outboard to twin 150 or 200hp models.
There are various factory upgrade packages and options to cater for game fishing, leisure boating or both interests. Seating, storage and comforts are highlights without compromising fishability.
The preliminary specifications list the key features as: a double walk-thru transom with two folding cockpit jump seats and below-deck storage; a deluxe tackle centre with "mega" storage; a huge 200-litre live-bait tank and aerated live well; folding cockpit bench seat and a cockpit floor pump house compartment.
A newly-designed console, with Corian accents, features a footrest/storage insert, new leaning post with backrest and flip-up bolsters, with optional fold-out backrest cushions in the bow. There’s a new anchor compartment with roller chute, chaff plate, hawse pipe and chain tensioner.
