Sea-Doo’s 2025 personal watercraft (PWC) line-up continues to take shape, with the company “casting its line into the deep end of the lake” with the addition of the range-topping FishPro Apex to the sport fishing line-up.
The high-end FishPro Apex joins the FishPro Scout, FishPro Sport and FishPro Trophy in a four-strong assault on the burgeoning recreational fishing market, but there’s already a sunset clause – it’ll only go on sale as a special edition for one year only.
The new three-person machine makes a bold statement from every angle as the BRP-owned Sea-Doo’s new fishing high-flyer, with seven rod holders, a nine-inch Garmin Fish Finder, swivel seat, quick-connect livewell, and power derived from a towering supercharged, 300hp Rotax ACE engine. The other three FishPro models have naturally aspirated engines.
There’s also an impact-absorbing hydraulic steering damper and a touring windshield, and the tech package on the FishPro Apex includes a premium audio system and 7.8-inch LCD display which has Bluetooth connectivity and navigation amongst a catalogue of other features.
Including the fishing cooler, total storage capacity is just shy of 150kg, and fuel capacity is 70 litres.
“Fishing continues to be one of the world’s most popular recreational activities and we see more and more of our customers utilising our brands to get out on the water and enjoy fishing with family and friends,” said James Heintz, the Director of Global Product Strategy, Sea-Doo & Marine Group at BRP.
“With that said, it only made sense to continue to capitalise on the innovation we are known for to create an even more immersive fishing experience for our customers.”
The FishPro Apex retails for $35,999.
