Savage releases new Tasman
With its latest 5.2 Tasman cuddy cabin, Savage says it has successfully managed to blend the best of the old with a range of brand new featuresIn doing so, Savage said it has created a great medium-sized family boat for five people and suits both fisher-folk as well as those just looking for some weekend fun.
A new wraparound windscreen is the most obvious new feature said Savage, offering greater protection from the elements, with a wide walkthrough section allowing easy access to the bow, where there's a separate self-draining anchor locker. The cockpit has also had an upgrade and now features fully moulded sides and concealed engine controls.
"We've upgraded the 5.2 from stem to stern," said Steve Bull, Savage boat group sales manager.
"We improved the way the boat functions, and we've made it look and feel that much better as well.
"It's a great all-rounder that can cruise all day or ride comfortably while you try your luck with a line.
"For example, we've included a new look flat dash to accommodate the engine instruments and electronics which include a Navman 27meg or VHF radio and a 4431 Navman sounder.
"We've also designed unique removable aft seats to improve the stowage area and included baitboxes in the aft deck," Bull said.
