Riviera has added three new Platinum Edition boats to its growing motor yacht line-up to kick off its 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show extravaganza.
The new Platinum Edition range will comprise the 4800, 5400 and 6000 Sport Yachts, each a “shining example of world-class style, sophistication and elegance”, said Riviera.
“It is a wonderful celebration of the inspired and time-proven design of our Sport Yacht range around the world. Over the past 14 years, Riviera has launched over 560 Sport Yachts ” Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst said.
“With the Platinum Edition Sport Yachts, you will see the unmistakable addition of hardtops and targa arches presented in Riviera Platinum Silver, along with a silver/grey upholstered sunbed on the foredeck.
“Electronic arrays, air vents and boot tops are rendered in a stealth-like black finish.
“Their beauty also runs deep with a raft of premium, state-of-the-art features such as Sunbrella fabrics, high-gloss walnut timber cabinetry and trim, pure wool carpet underfoot in the staterooms and in-vogue lounges upholstered in soft-touch fabrics.”
The helm adds new Recaro sports seats with Alcantara inserts and contrasting diamond hand-stitching. Sunbrella fabric headliners and wall linings, cover a number of surfaces while bathroom floors use a new luxe Corian finish.
Riviera said accommodation options for the Platinum Edition would range from two staterooms with two bathrooms aboard the 4800 Series II, to two or three staterooms with two bathrooms onboard the 5400. Step up to the flagship 6000, and the options jump to three or four staterooms with three bathrooms and “impressive layout options”.
Riviera launched the new Platinum Edition models on the Gold Coast yesterday by water skiing behind a new Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht wearing the Platinum Edition livery.
Riviera has teased it will have four new models on show at this year’s Sanctuary Cove show, meaning it still has one more surprise to drop in the next few days.
The 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show starts on the Gold Coast tomorrow and runs until Sunday. Tickets are available online.
