Princess Yachts is returning to the Australian boat show circuit for 2016 – unveiling its latest V39 luxury sports yacht at the upcoming 28th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS).
With its last Australian boat show visit three-years ago, Princess Yachts will aim to impress boating enthusiasts on its return, with plans to showcase a stunning line-up of boats, including current and new models, at the internationally renowned show.
Hugh Simson, general manager of sales at the Boutique Boat Company, distributor for Princess Yachts, and supertender craft including Wider, De Antonio and Ribbon, said they were enthusiastic about exhibiting at SCIBS.
"Princess is returning to the Australian boat show circuit after three years and we are very excited to be back at SCIBS," Mr Simson said.
"The SCIBS team runs a great event which will complement our year-round showing at our dealership on Sovereign Islands."
Mr Simson said the team was confident the brands would excite visitors and mirror their sales success in Europe.
"We are planning to exhibit the current Princess V39 model which has achieved international acclaim and was declared, pound for pound, the best sportscruiser under 45-feet," Mr Simson said.
"We will also have sales staff on hand specialising in Princess Yachts and our customary hospitality."
Also confirmed for display at SCIBS will be the De Antonio D23, a versatile supertender which doubles as a dayboat.
"A lot of visitors to SCIBS will be interested in this category of boats, looking for the latest and greatest," he said.
"In Europe, this kind of craft is extremely popular and are a must-have for waterfront living and yacht owners. We’re confident of the same response here."
The D23 boasts a 200hp, outboard engine, discretely installed under the cowling, plus aft seating which converts into sunpads and carbon-fibre rooftop, with a base price of $121,000.
"Of course, you can customise every aspect of these premium boats to suit your personal preferences, from the layout and interior styling to accessories. You’re limited only by your imagination."
SCIBS general manager Johan Hasser said the team was thrilled to announce Princess was back on board, with the luxury yacht manufacturer adding to the already high-calibre list of exhibitors attending the Show’s 28th edition.
"To have leading, luxury boating brands such as Princess Yachts at SCIBS is a great vote of confidence in the Show and we know visitors will be glad to see the ‘best of British’ back in 2016," Mr Hasser said.
"This year’s Show, just two months away, has attracted a broad selection of brands in every category which shows the industry’s confidence and determination to come out in force for SCIBS 2016."
Running May 19 to 22, 2016 the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show attracts close to 40,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors to a spectacular showcase featuring hundreds of boats and thousands of marine products across four days.
