Some of the most spectacular boats to be showcased at the 29th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) from May 25 to 28 on the Gold Coast have taken to the local waters in a show of strength.
Five multi-million-dollar vessels converged in a V-formation three weeks out from the luxury show that includes boats, cars and other prestige conveyances.
Attracting more than 40,000 visitors, SCIBS injects $148 million into the local economy each year.
Organisers say hundreds of boats and thousands of marine products will be showcased across four days of boating fun later this month.
SCIBS will again transform The Marine Village into a marine mecca, as some of the biggest boat brands come together in a show of nautical style.
That was certainly evident from the promo shoot above with a Horizon E84, Whitehaven 6000 Coupe, Integrity 490 Grand Sedan, Maritimo M59 and Alaska 47.
SCIBS general manager Johan Hasser said a host of world launches, industry innovations and visitor experiences are guaranteed to captivate and delight showgoers.
"Featuring everything from luxury superyachts and in-demand charter vessels, motor yachts, sailing boats and multihulls, to jet skis, fishing boats, RIBs, and the latest gear and gadgets, SCIBS caters to every level of interest, life stage and budget," Mr Hasser said.
This year, SCIBS is proud to welcome Bentley Brisbane as major sponsor of the Show. A new $399,000 seven-seat Diesel Bentayga SUV and Continental Supersports will be on show.
The Supercar Street and The Boatyard, a dedicated sport and trailerboat precinct, make a return in 2017.
The lively program of family-friendly entertainment and events includes a
Kids’ Zone, roving street performers, live music and delicious food on
offer throughout The Marine Village.
SCIBS offers FREE park ‘n’ ride services from Warner Bros. Movie World, along with limited on-site parking, available pre-paid only.
