The BIASA said it received an enormous level of congratulations on this first edition and valuable feedback was received from the recreational boating industry across Australia, and positive comments from readers in North America, GB and Western Europe.
All comments and suggestions received from the 'readership' were gratefully accepted by the BIASA board and as a result, real improvements have been made to this second edition which is again produced in full colour.
Such improvements include a soft cover, more flexible binding arrangements, the introduction of new indexing and referencing systems, and the inclusion of nearly 40 new maps, all dedicated to around a further 70 boating destinations in country areas of SA.
The atlas, with more than 200 maps and charts at scales of 1:20,000 and 1:50,000 cover every inch of SA inland and coastal areas including the Murray River, Lower Lakes and the Coorong.
All boaties who enjoy the magnificent waterways of SA have now got an even more comprehensive and functional guide, said BIASA.
Copies of the new atlas will be available at a retail GST inclusive price of $69.95 (plus cost of packaging and posting) from the Boating Industry Association of South Australia from September 2008.
