Rust buster

Septone says its newest product, EcoLube Marineguard, will withstand salt spray, wash downs with detergents, acids and alkalis, and is highly UV resistant

"Marineguard is unique, not only because it will displace moisture, lubricate moving parts, penetrate and free up seized components and protect against corrosion from water and electrolysis, but because it can do all those jobs and is friendly to our fragile marine ecosystems," Septone national sales manager Rob O'Neill said.

While other coatings can be washed off the surface by salt spray or during wash downs due to poor adhesion, or evaporate due to poor UV resistance, Marineguard is very 'tenacious', according to Septone.

Marineguard can be used to help prevent corrosion on items such as trailers, battery terminals, wire ropes, motors, cables, and metal surfaces.
