Rotax 4-TEC for Sea-Doo

All of Bombardier Recreational Products' (BRP) 2006 Sea-Doo sport boats will come equipped with Rotax 4-TEC marine engine packages; a move the company says will provide the boats with up to 30 per cent more power.

According to the company, Sea-Doo sport boats' jet drive systems provide quicker planing, less bow rise, more precise handling, and minimal draft.

The company says the 4-TEC marine engine packages enhance the advantages of jet drive through closed-loop cooling, the D-Sea-Bel sound reduction system, the digitally encoded security system, and electronic fuel injection.

"BRP revolutionised recreational boating when we combined jet drive technology with traditional, yet innovative 15 to 22ft boat designs," BRP Australia director of sales Sam Heyes said.

"The 2006 line-up of Sea-Doo sport boats allows us to offer boating enthusiasts all of the desired attributes of a premium runabout with the advantages of Rotax 4-TEC powered jet drives."
