In its 50th anniversary year, US giant Robalo has launched a new range of family-friendly fishing centre consoles onto the Australian market.
The company says the new Explorer range comprises "centre console fishing boats with serious offshore credibility", yet they come with numerous features to "make a big difference to family enjoyment".

The models ride on Robalo's Kevlar-reinforced Hydro Lift hull and come with self-draining decks, live bait tank, multiple fish boxes, bronze-through hull fittings, deck wash, rod storage and long-range fuel capacity, but they also offer extra seating, better storage, removable back rest, a walkthrough transom, cockpit table and additional trim and gelcoat colours.

The long list of inclusions will make any of the new Explorer centre consoles a hit with families as well as hardcore fishos, says Robalo.
"Robalo is now number one for market share in the tough US market, which is a nice 50th birthday present for the brand," says Scott O'Hare from Robalo Australia.
"These boats have a massive reputation and serious offshore credibility along with top-end quality, but they are also realistically priced compared to some of the other big brands, especially when you compare standard features and construction."

Sold by Aussie Boat Sales in Williamstown (Melbourne), Robalo Australia says it will have the all-new R202 Explorer and the popular R227 dual console crossover boats on display at the upcoming Melbourne Boat Show. The show, held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, will be staged from June 28 to July 1, 2018.
The new Robalo models on display at the show will feature Honda power, but Robalo Australia says all other engine brands are available.
