Riviera has teased a behind-the-scenes look at its luxurious 33-knot Belize 66 Daybridge taking shape ahead of the stunning motor yacht’s global reveal at October’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
“Tooling work and interior fit-out are proceeding apace, and Belize motoryacht specialist Doug Nelson, who is overseeing the construction, couldn’t be happier with the outcomes,” Riviera said in a statement released along with more images of the concept.

“Right now, the hull, deck and daybridge are connected, and the hardtop is also completed,” Nelson said.
“There’s an electric folding canvas sunroof and a retractable shade awning over the rear deck, plus stainless work of the highest quality. She’s looking fantastic.”
The Daybridge taking shape for the Fort Lauderdale show will have a four-cabin arrangement as a point of difference to the 66 Sedan launched in 2018 that was fitted out with the Grand Presidential design.
The sedan’s full-beam master stateroom including office space and full-beam bathroom remains an option for the Daybridge, Riviera said.
Riviera said the Belize’s “Classic” layout retained the innovative full bathroom and laundry space aft, while the fourth cabin fitted with double pullman bunks replaces the office on the starboard side.
“Where the Sedan has a large helm station near the centreline of the saloon, with three forward-facing pedestal seats, the Daybridge has a smaller console to starboard, accommodating a single seat, 22-inch screen, sports wheel and controls,” Riviera said.
“The additional space to port is used to create a dedicated dining area.”
The main helm is upon the Daybridge, and boasts a Garmin Glass Cockpit with twin 22-inch navigation screens and a 17-inch screen integrated with the 1000hp Volvo Penta D-13 1350 engines driving through IPS3 pod drives.
“There are three helm seats, all upholstered with premium Sunbrella outdoor fabric. The throttles are located to the skipper’s left and joystick to the right, which includes effortless joystick steering as standard,” it said.
Access to the Daybridge is via internal stairs, leaving the cockpit clutter-free.
Riviera said the wet bar on the Fort Lauderdale-bound Daybridge would come equipped with two fridges and an icemaker, as well as an optional electric twin-grill barbecue. An L-shaped lounge will feature a “stunning” timber dining table, it said.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is held in Florida from October 30 to November 3.
