Australian luxury motoryacht builder Riviera is welcoming new boat owners to its growing global family, after what it considers to be a very positive 2015 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS).
Riviera says it accounted for a dozen new-boat acquisitions and further negotiations are underway.
Three striking new models were released to the Americas market and two more impressive new yachts were announced.
Riviera chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said all the latest models were eagerly embraced at what is billed to be the biggest boat show in the world.
Riviera reports that the three boats that made their premieres – the 57 and 52 Enclosed flybridges, and the 6000 Sport Yacht with the full-beam 'Presidential Layout' – are among 12 new yachts "acquired by new owners at FLIBS, nine of them by first-time Riviera owners."
"It is also very gratifying that we received forward commitments for the new 5400 Sport Yacht and 525 SUV designs, both of which were officially announced at the show," adds Mr Longhurst.
The smart new 5400 Sport Yacht under build will have its world premiere at Miami International Boat Show (February 11-15), in conjunction with the Americas premiere of the 525 SUV.
Mr Longhurst said Riviera’s dedicated network throughout the Americas is continuing with discussions with aspiring owners. Exports now account for more than 50 per cent of the Queensland boatbuilder's production.
Florida-based international sales director, Chris McCafferty, said it is always moving to welcome first-time owners to the family.
"I’d also like to extend a very heart-felt welcome to our new family members," said Mr McCafferty. "These new Riviera owners can look forward to a pre-eminent level of customer care, which includes exclusive invitations to social events and unique cruising experiences."
Riviera staged a red-carpet dock party at FLIBS, surrounded by the latest stars of the Riviera and Belize Motoryachts collections. More than 100 guests joined in the celebrations.
"The name Riviera is synonymous worldwide with hallmark luxury, bluewater sea-keeping abilities and unrivalled owner support," said Mr McCafferty added. More at www.riviera.com.au.
