Riviera re-teases new motor yacht for Sanctuary Cove

A new image reveals a little bit more detail of Riviera's Sanctuary Cove showstopper

Gold Coast-based luxury motor yacht maker Riviera has teased another image of a new model that will make its global debut at next month’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

This time, instead of looking forward to the bow, the camera appears to have turned aft to show a deep and wide side deck running aft alongside what appears to be a forward-facing lounge.

The image also shows a large cleat – possibly one used to set a spring line – sitting under the rail.

The new details expand on a teaser image released last week and showing a curved windscreen framed beneath a large overhang – typical of several models in Riviera’s line-up including the SUV, Sports Yacht and Sports Motor Yacht ranges – and a hint of a large bow lounge featuring a central companionway and walkaround sides.

Of note, though, the forward-leaning stanchions of the railing indicate that this is likely not a new flagship sedan model that will sit alongside the flybridge-equipped Riviera 78 Motor Yacht, the largest boat built by the Coomera-based factory to date – it uses vertical stanchions.

The new model will be revealed live at the 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show on May 23, the day that gates officially open to the public.

No other details of the new model have been released.

The 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show runs from May 23-26.
