Riviera has teased the Riviera 645 SUV, a new range-topping sedan model set to join its showroom in 2021.
The new model is teased via a 42-second video uploaded to Riviera’s website, which reveals that the 645 SUV will be shown in full from 6pm on January 30.
An image posted on the Riviera website identified the new model as the 645 SUV, which will place it at the crown of the six-model range above the current largest sedan-styled motor yacht line-up, the 575 SUV.
It will be the first new member of the SUV line since last year’s introduction of the Riviera 505 SUV.
Features teased in the video include plenty of rod holders built into the coamings around its cockpit, the distinctive twin-notched feature on the aft section of the saloon similar to the one developed for the 505 SUV, and a forward-looking LIDAR system mounted over a three-panel windscreen.
The video goes on to show an enclosed lounge space on the foredeck – backing that this new model comes in at the larger end of the SUV range – and a short bowsprit with the anchor tucked away in the stem.
The new model comes in the wake of Riviera announcing its biggest-ever intake of new apprentices that will help it cope with a record intake of orders in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
