Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht syndication

Sydney, Gold Coast and Hamilton Island

Riviera is offering syndication customers the use of a brand new 5800 Sport Yacht at the three most tempting locations on the east coast -- Sydney over Christmas/New Year, Hamilton Island in winter/ and the rest of the year on the beautiful Queensland Gold Coast.

The vessel, named Bellini, is to be on display at this year's Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show and shares are available for just $239,000, plus a share of the on-going annual costs.

With only 10 shares available in the luxury boat, it is hardly surprising that seven shares have already been sold to existing Riviera customers and by word of mouth.

While Bellini will be based at Sanctuary Cove for most of the year, it will spend 10 weeks in Sydney over the Christmas holiday period and ten weeks in Hamilton Island over winter, so each owner will have a week aboard in the visiting ports.

Riviera Syndication manager John Russell says the Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve week is planned as a co-operative affair so all the owners can get aboard to celebrate the start of the annual Sydney-Hobart race and Sydney’s spectacular New Year’s Eve festivities. A professional skipper will be aboard to allow the owners to celebrate in style.

Russell says the vessel will spend June, July and August in the Whitsunday Islands and owners can also have the chance to travel to Hamilton Island on board with skipper Jimmy Thorn.

The boat has been personalised with a rear-facing lounge in the cockpit, a kayak, a centre-console tender with a 20hp outboard and an additional two-berth cabin with its own en suite, air-conditioning, TV and stereo.

“The additional two-berth cabin is popular with families as it gives children a separate living area,” Russell says.

A range of spares, such as a spare water pump, are aboard to ensure that unforeseen breakdowns will not mar holidays.

Those taking up syndication shares will also receive an individual three-day training session aboard the boat with a skipper to ensure they are confident with their control of the vessel.
