Revolutionary Polish boat right here

A Galeon like you've never seen before — fold-out 50ft flybridge cruiser converts every which way

Known for pushing the boundaries and avant-garde design, Polish boatbuilder Galeon Yachts has just released a truly revolutionary new 50 foot flybridge yacht with more appendages than a Swiss Army knife.

The Gaelon 500 Fly is about to debut at Cannes Yachting Festival in early September. These are the first photos of the actual boat by Tony Castro Design Studio, following the rendering teasers earlier this year.

Described as the ultimate entertaining yacht, the 50 footer has a surround glass cabin with more glazing than we've seen before; drop down port and starboard sides for larger deck space when at anchor; an automated system that quickly alters the bow sundeck into a comfortable seating area and auto-levels it; and convertible cockpit with swivelling aft lounge that rotates 360 degrees.

Impress your friends and serve drinks from the portside bar; swivel the cockpit lounge and enjoy beach mode; where the garage below will take an inflatable pontoon and deck chairs. Get them out! And the cocktail shaker.

Both hull sides drop down to create a larger cockpit area when partying. There's said to be nice direct access to the oversized flybridge, too. Or press a button and the entire foredeck automatically converts into a sundeck. This is madness.

Let's save on the hyperbole and let the following photos do the talking.

Our question: have they just gone too far? Do we really need all this. And what if we put something out and we can't get it back in? These are things our boating crew is already asking.

First prize for innovation though. What do you think? More on the Galeon 500 Fly, which has 670hp Volvo D11 power, when it comes to hand.
