Mercury Remanufacturing and MerCruiser have teamed up to offer boaters a low-cost way to upgrade their big block engines and give their boats a new lease of life.
"In the current economic climate there is a real need for a low cost repower option," MerCruiser Australia's David Meehan told the Boatsales Network.
"By doing this on a big scale, we can offer either the 383 Mag Stroker Bravo (fuel injected and rated 350hp) and the 357 Mag Bravo V4 (carbies and rated at 325hp) at a price between the cost of a long block rebuild and a brand new MerCruiser engine package," Meehan says.
"You can give your boat a new lease of life without breaking the bank."
The engines come with Mercury's 12 month remanufacturing warranty.
Boat owners can opt just for the engine or they can buy the turn key package that includes new transom, new trim pump, new drive line, a Bravo 3 propeller, new control box, new platinum cables and all the other add-ons needed for a complete overhaul.
Full details of the repower packages can be found at the Mercury Marine website.
