Premier Marine will launch Australia’s first ever Regal 28 Express at the Sydney International Boat Show at Darling Harbour opening Thursday.
"The 28 Express was designed to lead in style, amenities, comfort and purchase experience," said Steve Hannes, Dealer Principal at Premier Marine.
The 28 Express puts entertaining first, with a double helm seat and face-to-face aft cockpit seating for five, which Hannes claims is the most seating in its class.
The French-stitched upholstery can be upgraded to two-tone UltraLeather for added comfort. Guests in search of a tan will be drawn to the European sun lounge with four-way position chaise backrest.
Opening deck skylights bring natural ventilation and light below decks. Teamed with the hull-side picture windows, the 28 Express keeps you connected while down below.
At the press of a button, Regal’s hydraulic (and optional) PowerTower reduces windage for trailering and lowers air draft for storage. The stylish ‘tower’ also creates a fixing point for the bimini that helps shade the helm and cockpit seating on this sporty sports cruiser.
Regal’s patented OceanTrac hull claims to deliver 26 per cent better performance and 30 per cent better fuel economy when compared to other boats in its class.
The 28 Express features a queen berth aft with a unique cabin opening, plus a second convertible queen-sized berth forward to cater for a family of four.
Power comes in the form of MerCruiser 350 MAG or Volvo Penta 5.7 Gi 300hp petrol inboards with sterndrives.
Premier Marine has a keen show price of $150,000 on the new Regal 28 Express, an entry-level sports cruiser well suited to weekend family flings and overnighting. Hopefully, the clever new 28 Express breathes life into the entry-level cruiser market.
