MQ general manager, Don Jones, said no other president had served for six consecutive years in the association's 34-year history.
Jones said the same directors had also been re-elected for the second year at MQ's recent annual general meeting.
"This is another fine record for the marine industry," said Jones.
"It is the first time that the same team of directors will have served two consecutive years, despite a ballot for three vacant committee positions on rotation," he said.
MQ directors are president Jenkins; vice-president, Rob Elwell; treasurer, Chris Grice; and, committee members, Chris Carrington, James Cullen, Sharon Russell, Peter Taylor and Robbie Williams.
Jones said the unprecedented results ushered in an era of stability and continuity for the association.
"The board can press on with its strategic plan uninterrupted by the retraining and education that follows election of new directors," said Jones.
The stable line-up of directors, said Jones, assisted with his transition into the role of general manager, following the retirement of Barry Hibberd last month.
The general meeting unanimously applauded Hibberd's outstanding service since he was elected director of the BIAQ (the forerunner to MQ) in 1996 and general manager in 2000.
