Buyers simply need to register their new products online at www.raymarine.com/warranty to have the standard two-year warranty automatically extended by a further 12 months.
Raymarine says the extended warranty is a demonstration of its confidence in the high standards of quality and reliability that are designed into its products.
The company specialises in devleoping products specifcally for the marine environment by combining industry-leading techology with robust design.
Before any new Raymarine product is released onto the market it is subjected to extensive destruction testing in the compnay's in-house test facilities where it is shaken, baked, frozen and deluged. Products that pass these tests are then given on-the-water trials by a fleet of testers around the world and aboard Raymariner, the company's dedicated test boat.
By paying attention to every detail, Raymarine ensures its products are completely fit for the purpose and able to withstand the punishing conditions they will be subjected to at sea.
The company's director of product management, Chris Jones, says Raymarine is delighted to offer the extended 36-month warranty beacuse it will give buyers complete peace of mind.
He says that when registering for the warranty extension, buyers can also access the company's extensive online knowledge bank, including tips on getting the most out of their Raymarine products.
