Rare Platinum find for Adelaide Outboard Marine

Long standing SA marine retailer, Adelaide Outboard Marine (AOM), has been awarded the prestigious Yamaha Platinum Dealer status for excellence in customer service and satisfaction

Platinum status is awarded to a Yamaha dealer following rigorous scrutiny from both Yamaha Motor Australia and the dealer's customer base. A clear testament to the prestigious nature of this accolade, AOM is the only Yamaha outboard dealer in SA to achieve Platinum status, demonstrating their strong commitment to Yamaha, and their thriving local fishing and water sports market.

AOM celebrated its 50th anniversary year in 2007 with the business receiving an injection of new directors in 2002. The new team of Derek Blacker, Grant Tonkin and Simon Young brought about a fresh approach to the business with the Yamaha Platinum Status set firmly in their sites from day one.

"Achieving Yamaha's Platinum Dealer status now puts our business at a prestige level," said AOM co-director, Grant Tonkin.
