Quintrex updates Hornet range

New Fighter Series bow adds 11 per cent to the front casting platform and aids stability

As we reported here, Quintrex earlier this year upgraded its popular Explorer range of fishing boats, and now the Hornet range has also come in for a makeover. The entire range now featuring the successful Fighter Series bow.

The Fighter Series features a wide ‘forked’ shaped bow, which is designed to improve stability at rest and also increases internal storage room and the casting area.

The Fighter Series bow was first released in 2013 exclusively to the 450, 481 and 500 Hornet Trophy models and after rave reviews was developed for the entire Hornet and Hornet Trophy range as well Quintrex’s renowned Explorer range in models 390 and above.

The addition of the Fighter Series bow sees a whopping 11 per cent increase in the size of the front casting deck across the entire Hornet Trophy range including the popular 440 Hornet Trophy.

The new 2015 Hornet Trophy range is packed with features, some of which are premium carpet as standard on all models and a new-look side console on models 450 and above.

The 440 Hornet Trophy features a rear casting platform with a live-bait tank, a front casting platform, rod holders, transducer bracket and smooth look 2mm marine grade aluminium top sides making it one serious fishing rig.

Quintrex Account Manager Cameron Wood said the new Hornet range still offered exactly the same style of boat that anglers loved with the new improved shape offering extra room and stability.

"This development in the range really gives customers a reason to upgrade their current boat, there is no covering up the fact you get a lot more space in this boat without comprising the ride of the hull but in fact making it more stable and manoeuvrable when out fishing," Cameron said.

The Quintrex 440 Hornet Trophy is available as Instant Boating Packages including boat, motor and three-year factory backed warranty.
