Quintrex teases new-look Territory Legend range

The Quintrex Territory Legend is about to gain new looks and more buyer choice

The Quintrex Territory Legend range of rear console boats will add new looks and new models as part of a makeover of the more croc-friendly alloy runabout range.

The Territory Legend range features a deeper freeboard, front and rear casting platforms, four rod holders and a rear ladder in a layout that suits barramundi fishing.

The makeover keeps the 1.65-metre Quintrex 610 Territory Legend in the line-up, but adds two smaller models to the range – the 5.7-metre Quintrex 540 Territory Legend and the 6.0-metre Quintrex 590 Territory Legend.

Quyintrex said the 540 and 590 models would also incorporate a range of changes including an increased freeboard, an updated hull for better stability and ride performance, and a raised casting platform to make enough room to house a 110-litre icebox.

The 610, meanwhile, will remain unchanged.

According to Quintrex, the changes to the Territory Legend line-up would ensure it would “continue meeting the demand for a strong, deep rear console model for those living in the Northern Territory and beyond”.

Underneath the boats is Quintrex’s Blade hull system. The hull shape delivers a smoother ride in offshore conditions via a sharper entry and narrow shoulder at the bow to cut through swell and disperses spray further aft using a relaxed stem line that reduces the possibility of wind buffering it back into the boat.

Standard equipment across the range includes side pockets, scuppers, a rear ladder, an anchor well, a VHF marine radio, a bow plate to mount a trolling motor, and hydraulic steering.

The current line-up has a bimini available as an option for all but the entry-level Quintrex 540 Territory Legend, and a berley bucket for all but the 590 Territory Legend.

Options across the range include a larger bait board, drum winch, twin battery set-up, trim tabs, a transom door, better seats and a sounder.

Quintrex Territory Legend buyers will also gain access to a new range of branded parts and accessories that are due to become available in dealerships throughout Australia in September.

Key to this is an overhaul of the Quintrex range’s audio system, with the boats to feature “a new, sleek design showcasing some of Fusion’s latest technology, whilst achieving a seamless, consistent fascia layout”.

Quintrex-branded products will include iceboxes, fish bags, rod holders, deck protection, trailer guards, seat and boat covers.

The items can be ordered when buying a boat, or after as standalone items.

A range of parts and accessories will also be rolled into the new Frontier, Freestyler and Renegade boat bundles.

Quintrex has partnered with Mercury Marine to offer driveaway boat, motor and trailer packages, fully configured directly from the Australia factory, from selected dealerships.
